Wild Escape On The Southern Ocean
Discover your own piece of paradise through this rare opportunity to own over a kilometre of absolute beachfront in Australia's South West. With panoramic sea views from Black Point to Flinders Bay and Augusta, this is the prime location for a secluded getaway. Adventure into the virgin forest of mature Jarrah, Marri, Banksia and Peppermint, and enjoy excellent surfing, beaching and fishing in the ocean full of marine life.
Spanning a majestic 290 hectares (716 acres), this property offers endless opportunities for outdoor adventure and relaxation. The 1.3km of coastal frontage joins a long stretch of pristine beach which is essentially exclusive, as the only public access is seasonal, very rare and 3 kilometres to the west. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, this property is a true retreat from the stresses of everyday life, offering a unique lifestyle for those who appreciate the very best in beachfront living.
Surrounded by gorgeous native bushland and the Gingilup Nature Reserve, you can enjoy awe-inspiring views of the ocean and hinterland from many positions on the block. Planning to build your dream family home or holiday retreat? You have plenty of excellent sites to choose from. And to top it off, mains power is available to the west boundary, conveniently ready for you to connect to.
The property is fully fenced and secure with 7 kilometres of 5-strand fencing and steel pickets, which was replaced 5 years ago. It contains approximately 50 acres of pasture which has been used for cattle grazing over the last few decades and a working windmill supplying excellent quality water. A regular and reliable income stream could be developed via the rapidly developing Tiny House and Hipcamp business models.
The waters in front of the property are teeming with marine life including abalone, snapper, groper, tailor, salmon, herring, whiting and silver bream, just to name a few. You will also discover an abundance of wildflower, fungi and lichen species in the bushland.
Further perks include a nearby farm that supplies fresh vegetables (including broccoli), avocados and eggs at wholesale prices and the ability to pick up a pre-ordered pizza at Waldo’s in Capel, before eventually arriving back home.
Four hours from the Narrows Bridge, just over an hour away from Augusta and less than 90 minutes from Margaret River, this is an opportunity you do not want to miss. It’s time to go bush!

BLACK POINT (nearby landmark):
The wondrous cliff formations that give Black Point its name are found just 2.5km along the coast to the east of the property. Located just inside the western boundary of D'Entrecasteaux National Park, Black Point is one of the Park’s most spectacular attractions. Formed 135 million years ago by volcanic activity, Black Point owes its unique appearance to the lava which flowed from the Darling Scarp and slowly cooled at the ocean. In the cooling process the lava cracked and shrunk, and close-packed, hexagonal columns were formed perpendicular to the surface. These ‘Stepping Stones’ as they are known are now slowly being eroded away by the Southern Ocean.
To the west of Black Point itself lies a smaller, albeit spectacular outcrop of basalt featuring classic ‘organ pipe’ columns, locally known as “The Cathedral”. In calm weather, you may be able to get close enough to the basalt pillars to hear the organ-like music they create as the waves and wind echo through their gaps. Black Point, which is a 7km drive along Woodarburrup Road from the front gate of the property, is well known to local surfers who have been coming here for years and helped popularise the area.
