Elders Tamworth 5th Annual 3R Angus Commercial Sale 1,000hd Angus Cattle

Now in its third year, the 3R + Clients Commercial Angus Sale has become a proven source of quality Angus genetics for the commercial buyer. Held at TRLX, Tamworth on Tuesday 18 August from 2pm, this year's offering of 1,000+ head is the biggest yet, featuring front-paddock calf-at-foot 2YO heifers, PTIC heifers and yearling heifers.

The catalogue includes 35 Angus x Angus 2YO cows with 5–8 week calves (AI bred, sired by Montana Jake), 50 PTIC heifers due for September calving, 40 baldy heifers aged 9–10 months, 50 heifers aged 12–13 months purchased as top of sale, and 60 weaners bred and reared in the 3R herd — all weaned, bunk trained and IBR+MH treated. Notable vendor lines include drafts from Deloraine (Walcha), Loftus (Wauchope), EDT Pastoral (Wallabadah), Spring Creek (Narrabri), Eldwin (Walcha), Garrabaldi (Yarrowitch) and Bungay (Gloucester), ranging from PTIC stud-bred cows through to feedlot-ready steers.
