Santa Central evening sale sees flush packages sell to $32,000 at Allora

Marking their 20th anniversary sale, Scott and Wendy Ferguson and invited vendors saw solid demand for heifers and embryo packages at Monday night's Elite Female Sale at Headingly Sale Complex, Allora on September 15.
Six prefixes were represented from two states, with buyers from Queensland and interstate witnessing 11 females set a $8363 average, while 12 embryos sold to average $6000 for a complete clearance of the offering.
Heifers topped at $14,000 twice, and embryo packages made to $32,000.
Taking home one of the top-selling heifers and also the top-selling embryo package were Tom and Anna Dunlop, Munnabah stud, Coolah, NSW.
Their top female was Glenn Oaks Unforgettable U247, catalogued by the Ferguson family, Glenn Oaks stud, Nobby.
The 31-month-old Munnabah Oban P2760 daughter sold with a heifer calf at side and two straws of semen in any of the Ferguson family Trust sire list.
The other Munnabah selection was the $32,000 embryo package catalogued by the Glenn Oaks and Annabranch prefixes.
Making $8000 per zygote in the pairing of Glenn Oaks Habari H250 (Yarrawonga Archer F578) and the $175,000 Glenn Oaks Sterling S314 (Yarrawonga Hummer N138).
The other equal top-selling female was the 27-month-old, Wave Hill Ukie U215.
Sired by the $150,000 Yarrawonga Katmandu R236, the heifer carried a positive test to a determined sire through DNA selling to Andrew and Fiona Bassingthwaighte, Yarrawonga stud, Wallumbilla.
Again, the equal top seller was catalogued by the Ferguson family, Wave Hill stud, Nobby.
The Yarrawonga stud will also be the home of the $8000 selection, Diamond H Lace B264 (Santahat Q132).
Lace, a two-year-old, carried a safe test to Rockingham Tickler and was offered by the Hatton family, Diamond H stud, Chinchilla.
Junior member, Georgia Kirkby, Waterloo stud, Bellata, NSW selected the $20,000 embryo package (four zygotes) in the pairing between Glenn Oaks Ribbons R322 (Wave Hill Larrikan L9) and Yarrawonga Ironman P914.
This package was offered by the Glenn Oaks and the Baker family's, Annabranch stud, Wandoan in partnership.
The same partnership offered four eggs in the combination of the donor, Glenn Oaks Khaleesi K44 (Dunlop Kaiser) and the prepotent former RNA champion, Wilgaroon Jester.
Taking that parcel at $20,000 was the Kilcock Stud, Deniliquin, NSW.
Georgia Kirkby also selected a live lot in the form of the $7000 heifer, Diamond H Bloom B130 (23-months), sold by the Hatton family, Diamond H stud, Chinchilla.
Janine and Paul Edwards, Dovemeadow, Jackson secured a pair of heifers for on average $7500, topping at $8000 for a polled daughter of Yarrawonga Jackpot Q238, Glenn Oaks Verity V33, aged 18 months.
The other Edward acquisition was the $7000 sale opener, Warenda Tess T23, 42-months, offered with a heifer calf at side by Sylvia Kirkby, Warenda stud, Narrabri, NSW.
