Excitement is building with only a month until the 2025 Royal Adelaide Show.

The show will be celebrating a special milestone this year - 100 years at the current showgrounds.

Agriculture's finest animals, people and products will be on display from August 30 to September 7, from sheep to dairy and beef cattle, to goats, pigs and grains.

As well as the state young judges and paraders championships, the Royal Adelaide will also be holding the national championships this year.

Check out the timetable of competitions below.

Prime lamb and maternal sheep breeds (Sheep Pavilion)

Saturday, August 30

9am - Border Leicester, Corriedale, Ryeland and White Suffolk; 10.30am - Southdown; 1pm - Polwarth and Lambplan production classes.

Sunday, August 31

9am - Texel, Poll Dorset, Romney and Suffolk; 1pm - Dorper, White Dorper and Hampshire Down; 2pm - Australian White; 6pm - Champion Interbreed Pen of Three Rams followed by Combined Sheep Breeders Function.

Monday, September 1

9am - Champion Interbreed Lamb Production Terminal; 9.30am - Maternal Competition Lamb Production Class; 10am - Supreme British Breeds Group; 10.30am - Supreme All Breeds Group; 11.30am - Supreme Champion Ewe and Ram; 12pm - Presentation of Breed Trophies, Most Successful Exhibitor Awards and Wool Trophies.

Thursday, September 4
