Canberra Royal 2025: Charolais breed judging results

A young Charolais breeder dominated in the breed judging at the 2025 Royal Canberra Show.
Rosely Unique, exhibited by Indie Miller, Aberdeen, was awarded grand champion female under the eye of judge Peter Collins, Merridale Angus, Tennyson, Vic.
The 17-month-old Charolais heifer was sired by Lt Authority, 7229 and out of Destiny Sadie.
Indie's mother Belinda said it was their first time to Canberra Royal.
"I love the bond the animal and Indie have together - it's pretty unique," she said.
Mr Collins said she was a "beautiful good strong heifer" with plenty of width and beautiful udder development.
Rosely Unique was the junior champion female before going on to take grand over the senior champion Woongarra Uppity, exhibited by Murrumburrah High School, Harden.
The 22-month-old Charolais was sired by Woongarra Silus and out of Violet Hills Rosie.
Mr Collins said she had a little bit more coverage and paraded better than the reserve senior champion female Woongarra Utopian, also exhibited by Murrumburrah High School.
