Its grandsire was among the top-performing sires in the Coonong Dohne Sire Evaluation trial.

The second-top ram, MD253228, made $7000 to a buyer at Midgery, Walgett, recording one of the highest Dohne Plus indexes in the catalogue at 168.26.
