LAWD National Director Tim McKinnon says five established Human-Induced Regeneration (HIR) carbon projects are currently accruing approximately 80,000 Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCUs) per annum gross to the landowner (subject to a 15 per cent carbon service provider’s interest), with more than 1.5 million units projected through to 2047.
Proven ACCU monetisation has seen the projects achieve average realised prices of $40.66 per ACCU in FY25 and $37.62 per ACCU in FY24.
Looking ahead, approximately 50 per cent of issuance is contracted through to March 2029 to an investment-grade ASX-listed counterparty, at a premium to spot with a CPI-escalated floor.

“Net ACCU accumulation is forecast to peak at close to 88,000 units per annum in the early 2030s, demonstrating a strong growth outlook for investors,” he says.
“The diversified income stream also includes an established grazing enterprise based on ongoing agistment agreements, with a combined carrying capacity of more than 2,000 Adult Equivalents (AEs).
“The portfolio is being offered in one-line, making it a rare institutional-scale natural capital investment opportunity that is suited to a range of potential purchasers from carbon farming groups, natural capital investors, large-scale agribusinesses, or nearby operators seeking expansion opportunities.”

Significant investment has been made in exclusion and boundary fencing, internal paddock fencing and laneway systems, to complement the cattle yards, shearing sheds, workshops, machinery sheds and storage facilities.
In addition, there are multiple dwellings situated across the properties, including homesteads and staff accommodation, while associated domestic improvements include landscaped house yards, garages, sheds, rainwater storage and established gardens.
