Owned by the Calabro Family this 35-hectare (approx.) grove of 2,500 olive trees in Toolleen 20 km north of Heathcote. The trees were planted in the late 1990s. Subsequently some additional varieties of olive trees have been planted for table olives and some Apricot and Almond trees.
Calabro Olive farm is an attractive country retreat.
The permanent Bore water which pumps 1,000-gallon p/h has been more than adequate to maintain the olive grove in productive condition and in many years is excess to requirements.
The olive grove has drip line irrigation to all trees on the property with good fencing.
To ensure protection from the elements there is a 19m x 9m enclosed powered shed with a 6m x 9m Annex attached for farming equipment.
