TLA Tamworth Feature Weaner & Store Cattle Sale – 6,000 Head Cattle

The Tamworth Livestock Agents (TLA) present their fourth and final Feature Weaner & Store Cattle Sale for 2026 on Friday 24th April 2026, commencing at 10:00am at the Tamworth Regional Livestock Exchange. An estimated 6,000 cattle are expected across mixed sex weaners, steers, heifers, cows and calves, PTIC females, and a bull. Bidding is available online via Stocklive. The sale is organised by the TLA member agencies including Davidson Cameron & Co, Elders, Northwest Agencies, McCulloch Agencies, Newcombe Livestock & Property, Nutrien Livestock, Pitt Sons, Purtle Plevey Agencies, Garvin & Cousens, Ian Morgan Livestock, and Capital Livestock & Property.
Standout mixed sex entries include 170 Angus, Angus x Santa & Santa m/s weaners (4–6 months, Clunie Range & Denngal blood) from Wemen P/ship, Warren; 150 Angus and Euro x m/s yearlings from Lee (ideal cattle with compensatory gains); 130 EU Accredited Poll Hereford m/s weaners (7–9 months, Bowen blood) from Fisher, Coonamble; 80 EU Accredited Angus x Angus m/s weaners (GB & JS Ralston, Booroomooka & Hazeldene blood); and 50 EU Accredited Angus & Angus x m/s weaners (8–10 months, Killain & Millah Murrah blood) from Meredith. Steer highlights include 150 Angus x Angus backgrounder steers averaging 320kg from Nundle Highlands, and 100 Angus steers from MR Webster. The heifer section features 145 Angus and black baldy heifers yard weaned from Moreduval P/L (Hazeldene & Booroomooka blood). Females and calves include 28 x 28 Angus heifers and calves PTIC to XL genetics Angus bull (HBS Holdings), 21 x 21 Angus x cows and calves (Bonnello), and 6 x 6 Speckle Park cows and calves with a Speckle Park bull (Stone Speckle Park, Elders). PTIC entries include 45 Angus/Angus x cows joined to Ben Nevis bulls (ET Pty Ltd).
