About Patrick Skahill
“When thinking about the leadership skills of Patrick I cannot go past the word dignity. He would never compromise the dignity of another person in his leadership activities. This is seen in his compassionate leadership, which is always empathetic to others but never weak because of this”. - The opinion of a highly respected local community leader as reported by the Bendigo Advertiser on 16 December, 2009.
When you meet Patrick Skahill you too will quickly share this opinion. Patrick has an uncompromising concern for the fundamental dignity of every person. He is compassionate and empathetic yet a very strong leader with a desire to serve and better others. Every day Patrick chooses the vocation of real estate agent and the power of property, the Elders brand, and his skills of masterful marketing and negotiation to serve others.
Patrick is a Licensed Real Estate Agent and Auctioneer. He has accredited knowledge of property economics, investment and advanced property valuation. He holds a Bachelor of Property and Real Estate with a Major in Marketing. A three year degree from Deakin University which he completed with distinction in two years via correspondence from Bendigo. In earlier years, Patrick was the founding Vincent House Captain and subject dux of VCE economics in 2009 at Catholic College Bendigo; where after his graduation he was employed on staff as a School Officer for three years. Patrick attributes his time at Catholic College Bendigo and the inherent altruism of the college staff for his manner in real estate and the business community. Patrick credits his upbringing and 4 years’ service to McDonalds as a Crew Trainer for his work ethic, and the superior service experience that he provides to his real estate clients. Patrick is a keen swimmer and an avid scholar of all things people, business, property and real estate. Patrick is uncompromising in his daily pursuit to demonstrate mastery as a salesperson, auctioneer, marketer, negotiator and most importantly - as a human being.
Patrick has twice been recognised for his ethics, conduct and service to the community. In 2003 he was the recipient of the St Therese’s Citizenship Award and in 2009 he was the recipient of the Bishop Noel Daly Memorial Award. Both are the highest honours awarded to one person on graduation who best embodies the values of both schools based on their conduct and contribution during their 7 and 6 years respectively. Such recognition is “a proven track record” and evidence of Patrick’s character, leadership and the value of his personal brand.
Patrick has great beliefs in Bendigo, real estate and marketing. He is in his element in all facets of property and real estate. Patrick delights in serving people and assisting them to grow financially through the processes involved in buying, renting, selling and leasing all forms of real estate.
