Woodyarrup Merino & Poll Merino Stud

At Woodyarrup, our passion is producing profitable Merinos

EXCELLENCE IN SHEEP BREEDING

We are deeply committed to the welfare and performance of our sheep, both for our clients and within our own commercial operations.

We consistently employ the highest quality artificial breeding tools and seek out the best technical advice available. We confidently benchmark our sheep and proudly showcase them in the show ring.

Our dedication to excellence over decades is evident in the loyalty of our long-term clients, our top-performing sires in national genetic evaluations, and our significant genetic impact across the WA Merino stud industry - extending nationwide.

Woodyarrup Merinos exemplify true dual-purpose Merino performance. Our sheep boast outstanding lamb growth rates, superior bone structure, and impressive adult carcass size, all while producing our renowned heavy clean fleece weights of long-stapled, high-strength fine wool on plain bodies.
