Commitment: They are committed exclusively to the Poll Dorset breed and do not advocate for composite sheep breeds, believing Poll Dorsets produce the best prime lambs regardless of the maternal breed.

Objective Measurement: Springwaters was one of the first studs in Australia to utilize Stockscan (NZ) to scan for performance traits. This tool measures traits like eye muscle depth and width to validate the meat-producing ability of the sheep.
