Rowensville Ultra Fine Merino Stud

Established in 1976, Rowensville Merinos has built a reputation as one of Australia's leading ultra-fine Merino studs through a long-term commitment to genetic excellence and flock improvement. The stud was founded on 600 pure Chatsworth House blood ewes averaging 19.4 micron, with significant advances achieved through the strategic introduction of elite Rockbank and Glenara genetics. Over the decades, Rowensville has focused on breeding its own sires, developing strong family lines and producing highly productive sheep renowned for their exceptional wool quality, constitution and performance. Stud registration was granted in 1995, reflecting the success of the Rowensville breeding program and its dedication to continual genetic progress.
