Hi, we’re the Williams family - Kim, Liz, Ned and Katja. We warmly welcome you to Polldale Shorthorns, our family-run stud just outside Dubbo, NSW.

Here, three generations of passionate breeders work side by side, proudly continuing a Shorthorn legacy that spans more than 65 years.

For us, Shorthorns are more than cattle, shaped by our dedication, care, and a deep respect for the history and future of the breed.

Over the decades, we’ve focused on breeding quality seedstock known for strength, structural soundness, and quiet temperament.

While we’re proud of our history, milestones and especially our long-standing relationships with our clients.

Our on-property sale bulls and female offering reflects years of careful breeding. We believe these cattle represent the consistency and quality we’ve worked hard to achieve.

At Polldale, our goal is simple: to breed practical, easy-care cattle suited to real-world conditions.
