Narranmore Angus

The Narranmore Angus stud was founded in 2010, originating from a specially selected herd of joined cows and cows with calves at foot purchased from the Tucklan Valley Angus dispersal.

Our breeding program is firmly focused on meeting the needs of the commercial breeder. We believe temperament is paramount, and our bulls are handled regularly. Essential breeding objectives include:

• Structural Soundness
• Early Maturity
• Muscling

We operate our herd under commercial conditions. Our genetics are predominantly based on highly regarded Millah Murrah bloodlines, and we continually seek to introduce elite performance, as demonstrated by the recent purchase of two Canadian-bred sires.

We utilize an Artificial Insemination (AI) program each year, followed by natural joining for our second autumn drop bulls. While we participate in Breedplan as a vital selection tool, we hold visual assessment (phenotype) as equally important in selecting our stud bulls.

We hold an annual sale on the last Friday of August, where approximately 45 bulls are offered to our clients.
