Murgona Cattle Co is an agricultural enterprise, established in 2010, and based in the renowned Taroom/Wandoan District, of which Murgona Santa Gertrudis is at the forefront.

Murgona Stud, 2049, was established in 1998 and is currently run by Daniel, Kasey and their children Taylor & Brian at “Burradoo” Wandoan.

Since 2008 Murgona bulls have been sold at the Annual Heartland Santa Gertrudis Breeder’s Group Sale as well as through private paddock sales. This year, however, sees the start of an exciting new chapter with the Inaugural Murgona Invitation Sale set to be held on the 30th of September, at the brand new Taroom Showgrounds selling facility.

Murgona look forward to offering you industry relevant herd improvers from fertile low maintenance females. Temperament, structural soundness, muscle pattern, fat coverage and breed character are just some of the selection criteria that they scrutinise their cattle under. Murgona pride themselves on offering accurate and detailed, relevant, data to aid you in your sire selection. Cattle at “Burradoo” are handled by men, women and children, dogs, horses and ATV’s so they should fit seamlessly into any operation.
