Moorundie Poll Merino

Moorundie Poll Merino Stud has foundations going back to 1955. Geoff and Bernadette operate the stud from their properties at Keith in the south east of South Australia. Moorundie sheep are highly sought after by both commercial and ram Breeding flocks. We sell rams and semen to all mainland states, and nearly all five year old ewes are sold to studs.

At Moorundie we believe in breeding for client profit and predictability of progeny. We concentrate on high fleece weight, fertility, early growth rates and white wool, able to handle rainfall. Moorundies extensive AI and ET programmes are designed to accelerate our genetic gain.

Moorundie Polls will be displaying on property at the SE Field days in July, at Sheepvention, Hamilton, in August. We offer rams at Adelaide Ram Sale and our On Property Ram Auction in September. Rams are available for inspection and private selection by appointment. Young ewes are sold at the Keith Ewe sale in October.
