About Kingsvale Supreme

We have been measuring our carcases since 1996, concentrating on marbling and carcase shape. We are excited with our latest venture with GMP, where they pay on grid for carcase yield and marbling.

Our first lot of Corriedale x Kingsvale Supreme Poll Dorset lambs scored excellently and this gives us the drive to continue to pursue carcase measuring. We firmly believe that you, our ram purchaser, should have the information to buy with confidence.

This year there were 3 lots of lambs through GMP. The results were pretty good, the last lot marbled 75% with a GQL of 80c per kilo. It seems the next paragraph is deja vu, but when chasing genetics and continually measuring, I guess the results will be always improving. This years rams are the best we have ever produced. We aim to provide a catalogue of terminal sires that are consistent with traits that reflect low birth, great growth, the right amount of fat and good marbling and shear force.

All rams are up to date with health treatments, and again we are proud to guarantee all rams purchased.
