About Killain Angus

Killain Angus was established in 2013, based on the genetics of the world-renowned Angus stud Schaff Angus Valley in North Dakota. We are very fortunate to have the famous SAV female lines, including Madame Pride, Emblynette, Blackcap May and Abigale.

Operating at the top end of these SAV female lines, we have daughters of SAV Blackcap May 1416 (dam of SAV sale toppers SAV Dexter 3594 in 2024 and SAV Scale House 0845 in 2021) and SAV Blackcap May 6644 (dam of 2022 SAV sale topper SAV Panther 1906 and daughter of the Angus breeds all time income producing cow SAV Blackcap May 4136).

We have bulls and females by SAV America 8018, SAV Grand Canyon 0969, SAV Scale House 0845, SAV Anthem 0042, SAV Bloodline 9578, Killain Power Play S6, Killain Prolific U62, and Killain Rainman P1, and outcrosses Baldridge Badger, S Powerpoint WS5503 and Ellingson Prolific, with the first SAV Courage 3003 due this year.

In 2024, we purchased a 1,000 Angus female commercial herd on King Island, Tasmania, allowing us to collate data on our genetics in a large commercial setting.

In 2026, we will be holding our first Performance Bull Sale on Tuesday, 8 September 2026.
