About Fairbank Poll Dorsets

Fairbank Poll Dorset Stud was founded in 1969 from sourcing the best Tasmanian ram and ewe genetics. The stud quickly grew as demand increased. Showing success soon followed with numerous ram and ewe champions exhibited locally over the past 40 years. Fairbank Poll Dorsets were the first Tasmanian stud to utilise Lambplan performance recording. With a ewe base between 250 and 300 ewes we focus on early maturing genetics that are ideal for the sucker lamb market.
