The focus of the Bellevue stud remains firmly on meat production and fertility. This we back up with the prime lambs we are producing in our commercial prime lamb enterprise.

Success in carcass competitions (2023 & 2022 Brisbane EKKA Prime Lamb Carcass Competition) as well as supplying Brisbane's best butcher, Meat At Billy's, seasonally, has given us the perfect opportunity to continue to 'ground truth' our rams and to know that we are producing rams that produce lambs with ideal meat carcasses.

This feedback is priceless for us as seed-stock producers. It means that we are producing rams that produce lambs with quality prime lamb carcasses, and confirms that we are using the correct parameters with our visual and data selection.

Every ram we sell at Bellevue is a product of a well considered breeding program which puts maximum emphasis on measuring and selecting for the prime lamb breeding needs of our commercial clients.
