The facility is recognised as the number 1 major selling Centre in Western Queensland and draws cattle from a vast geographical area. Over 200,000 head of cattle pass through the facility annually.

The Blackall Saleyards has a fast modern drafting and weighing system, bull selling complex and three state of the art double deck loading ramps with full length side walkways attached providing a safe working environment for transport operators.
