Glenlee Park rams top at $10,000 in strong annual sale result

Show ring success drove strong demand at the sixth annual Glenlee Park on-property Border Leicester sale at Gerang Gerung on Friday, October 2.

The stud achieved a complete clearance of its stud offering, with all 10 stud rams selling to a strong average of $5450.

Commercial buyers maintained a steady pace through the flock draft, clearing 63 of 70 rams to average $1230.

Overall, 73 of 81 rams sold under the hammer for a combined average of $1808, marking a significant leap from the 2025 sale average of $1288.

The $10,000 top price was set by lot 4, Glenlee Park 25-0003, who was awarded supreme longwool exhibit at the Australian Sheep and Wool Show.

The grand champion and junior champion ram was secured by Michael King of Netley Park, Cannawigara, South Australia.
