Triple B Brangus is celebrating the success of its second Northern Production Sale at Dalrymple Saleyards, Charters Towers, on Friday, February 13.

Vendors Lindsay and Fiona Barlow, Triple B stud, Dingo, witnessed 55 Brangus bulls of 62 offered sell for an 89 per cent clearance.

In 2025, 61 of 63 Brangus bulls sold to a $22,000 high, for a gross of $400,000, an average of $6557 and a 97 per cent clearance.

The day's pacesetter at $15,000 was 28-month-old, Triple B Unsung Hero U530 (PP).

Weighing 798 kilograms, the sale topper had P8 and rib fat measurements of 9mm and 6 mm respectively, an eye muscle area of 126 square centimetres, a scrotal circumference of 39cm and intramuscular fat of 5.7pc.

Taking home the sale topper was Frank Blacklock, Ballootha, Julia Creek.

In the catalogue, the Barlows said each animal in the sale was supported by extensive generational EBV and DNA information, built on more than 30 years of dedicated and disciplined performance recording.

"This depth of data provides a high level of reliability and transparency for buyers," they said.
