Merrignee Merino and Poll Merino ram sale 2025 gallery

Heavy cutting wool and versatile rams were in demand at the Merrignee Merino and Poll Merino ram sale at Boorowa on Friday, October 10.

Rams sold across three states, with strong local support from woolgrowers across Boorowa and surrounding villages.

Stud principal Jono Merriman said he was pleased with the day, considering the tough winter across the South West Slopes.

"The lead animals sold very well. There was good competition on those lead animals, and they'll be off to a few different Merino studs," he said.

"It's great to see people seeing value in the style and the size of those animals."
