Glenlands sells $3.612m worth of bulls, 28pc sold to five buyers alone

In another spectacular display of confidence and buyer acceptance a complete clearance was achieved at the annual Glenlands Sale at Bouldercombe on Thursday, September 18.
The sale resulted in another complete clearance a bottom-line average of $19,316, a total clearance and a $3.612M for the 187 bulls offered.
The result is $2572 above the average of the previous year's result with an additional 21 head sold over the corresponding period.
The sale got off to a cracking start with 19 feature bulls sell to a top of $200,000 to average $54,368.
Sale topper at $200,000 was Glenlands D Game Changer selling to Richard and Robyn Simmons, Avon Downs, Clermont.
Aged 25-months, Game Changer was a homozygous poll IVF bull that weighed 1045 kilograms, posted a daily gain of 1.37kg per day, scanned 14mm and 10mm, respectively for P8 and rib fat and had a 160 square centimetres for eye muscle area.
He was sold in a three-quarter share full possession arrangement.
Avon Downs also secured the $120,000 Glenlands J Grandchester.
At 23-months the bull weighed 1040 kilograms, posted a daily gain of 1.47kg per day, scanned 15mm and 10mm, respectively for P8 and rib fat and 147 square centimetres for eye muscle area and was also marketed in a three-quarter share full possession arrangement.

At $100,000 Glenlands D Grand Slam changed hands selling to Kiernan and Company.
The two-year-old headed a draft of 18 head which averaged an incredible $32,167.
This result also included the $90,000 IVF product, Glenlands D Grave Digger and the $75,000 Glenlands D Gate Keeper.
Fred and Juleen Johnson, Chipahill stud, Biloela outlaid $75,000 for another of the IVF products, Glenlands D Gold Rush while the Luck family, Junee, Dingo selected a trio for a $28,333 average topping at $45,000 for Glenlands J Greystone.
Strong, consistent and sustained demand from both leading seedstock and commercial operations from Western Australia and right across Queensland and into the Northern Territory contributed to the result.
Twenty eight per cent of the offering sold to five parties.
Seamark Pty Ltd., returned taking 20 head setting a $14,650 average.
Charlie and Jackie Hawkins and family, HC Pastoral and HC Grazing, Toowoomba purchased eight head for a $19,625 average which topped at $26,000 on two occasions.
Dale, Trevor and Shirley Jones, Myra, Clermont signed off on nine at an average $16,000.
Taking four head was Bingcliff Pty Ltd., Haasts Bluff Station, Alice Springs, NT and Considerata Australia accounted for 11 head topping at $26,000 ending in an average of $17,455.
Bash and Robin Carmichael, Newcombe, Augathella returned taking four at on average $18,750 topping at $25,000.
Ian and Sharon Bush, Mayto, Alpha signed off on nine for a $17,333 average topping at $26,000.
Western Australian breeder, Ken Mutton, Fieldhouse stud, Wickepin purchased a pair for a $30,500 average topping at $45,000 for Glenlands D Grover.
James and Elisha Pisaturo, Almafi stud, Dingo outlaid on average $31,500 for their two purchases which included the $45,000 Glenlands J Granville.
Karragarra stud, Emerald operated by Wayne and Ingrid York purchased a pair for a $27,000 topping at $28,000.
