Rowallan repeat bidders set cracking pace at Poll Dorset auction | PHOTOS

Repeat bidders selected in bulk at the Rowallan Poll Dorset ram sale at Crowther, on Friday, September 5, with plenty of full trailers driving away.
There was also a stud record high price, coming midway through the sale.
The sale came as the studstock season began to transition from bull sales to include more ram sales in the coming weeks.
Forbes Livestock and Agency Co agent Sam Mackay said sales had been buoyed by a climbing lamb market, resulting in a lift in buyer confidence, with clients willing to invest more in top-end sires this season.
The Rowallan sale fell on a particularly busy day during the sales' calendar, with more than a dozen held that day. You can catch up on all the action from The Land's blog, including auctions from across the state.
