The 2025 Booroomooka Angus annual bull sale has kicked off, and the first 20 lots have flown through the sale ring on-property at Keera, Bingara.

Of those opening bulls to be offered, all 20 sold, to a top price of $40,000 at the sale on Friday, August 15.

The early pacesetter was Booroomooka Universal U624, by Rennylea S69 out of Booroomooka Silicated M566.

The bull's estimated breeding values included a 600 day weight of 300kg, a carcase weight of 92kg and an IMF of 4 per cent.

There are 266 lots catalogued, and The Land journalist Simon Chamberlain is on the ground at the sale following along. He will be bringing readers a full report later.

The stud will be out to match last year's effort where the Booroomooka team achieved a full clearance.
