Undisputed continues his show success at the Hereford National

A bull that has proven himself in the show ring multiple times before has backed it up again in the senior classes at the 60th Herefords Australia National Show and Sale at Wodonga, Vic, on May 14.
Talumbi Undisputed rose to the top of the senior classes under judge PJ Budler, Texas, USA, out of the first of four classes in the age group.
Mr Budler said the two bulls he placed in the class were a strong pair, and that was evident in their data.
"The bull that wins has quite some caving ease data too when you have a look at his estimated breeding values," he said.
"But that data reflects itself in his phenotype, he's got power and growth and masculinity and mass of muscle.
"He's extremely soft and deep-bodied, has a tremendous testicle size, shape, and suspension, and moves that massive body around well on good feet and legs. He's just a really complete animal."
The 24-month-old bull, by Injemira Robert Redford Q287, weighed 1115 kilograms, while recording P8 and rib fat scans of 22 millimetres and 18mm, respectively.
He also measured an eye muscle area of 145 square centimetres and a scrotal circumference of 42cm.
Talumbi stud principals Daniel and Caleb Croker said he was potentially the best bull they had bred.
Daniel Croker said the young sire had had a successful show career, winning reserve junior champion bull at the 2024 Royal Canberra Show, as well as also winning grand champion Hereford bull at the 2025 Sydney Royal Easter Show, just last month.
"Obviously, the Injemira Robert Redford sire is a good bull, but we think it's the cow line that's given him the lift," Caleb said.
"The cow Kymarney Regal Q002, which we purchased a few years ago and she's done wonderful things for our herd, we're really chuffed with her."
The proven combination of genetics also had other success in the show ring with the full brother to the senior champion, Talumbi Unhinged, awarded the reserve junior champion bull at the show and sale.

The reserve senior champion was awarded to Mawarra Masterpiece, exhibited by Mawarra Genetics, Longford, Vic, who was awarded second place in the classes to the senior champion bull.
Mr Budler said the bull was a powerful herd sire prospect.
"He's just rippling with muscle, he's flexible and sound, he's long in the body relative to his height, good testicle size and shape," he said.
The Mawarra Influenital Q162 son weighed 958kg, with an EMA of 143sq cm, a P8 fat scan of 15mm and a rib scan of 8mm.
At 23 months old, the young bull recorded a scrotal circumference of 42cm.
