All the glitz and glamour of the third annual Brangus Ladies Invitational Notable Genetics Sale (BLING) will come to the fore, under lights, in the intimate setting of the barn at Paradise Lagoons on Friday, May 16.

In all, 24 lots will be offered by 14 vendors at this year's sale.

The returning BLING Sale vendors Yaraandoo, Earlwood, Bullakeana, Pheasant Creek, M1B, Wildcard, Bates, and Bauhinia Park, will be joined by the Black Label, JK Cattle Co, Circle H, 3 Hearts, River Run, and Stutzview studs, who'll make their sale debut.

Sale coordinator and GDL stud stock specialist Georgie Connor said BLING will provide these first-time vendors with a platform to showcase the type of female they're producing and the direction in which they're taking their respective programs.

"This is the strongest BLING catalogue assembled to date," Ms Connor said.

For this reason, it's fitting that in lot 1, a three-in-one package will be offered by the Yaraandoo stud. The three-in-one package is a rarity for a publicly held multivendor sale, and Yaraandoo has chosen to put such a strong lot forward as they're celebrating 35 years of Brangus production in 2025."

The 23 heifers and the three-in-one package will be penned in the Paradise Lagoons barn facility from 5pm, with the sale to start at 6.30pm.

"BLING in the Barn, is what we're calling it. All heifers will be penned and sold in stables in the barn under lights," she said.

For the first two BLING sales, all 39 lots sold for a combined gross of $584,500 to average $14,987 per head.

"After just two sales, the reputation of the heifers offered at BLING has been recognised as being of donor quality standards. This means BLING is a great opportunity for those who're beginning their Brangus breeding journey as well as those looking to add donor heifers to pre-existing herds."

Ms Connor said to date, the coverage and chatter around this year's sale had been phenomenal.

"For BLING, vendors are opening their doors to their female genetics, which would usually be unavailable for purchase. The popularity of the sale purely comes down to the quality of the heifers being offered, and the BLING vendors are continually raising the standards for the females they select."

She said to promote and encourage young Brangus breeders, the recipient of the Robert Barlow Brangus International Youth Scholarship will be offered a lot in the BLING Sale from this year onwards.

Those unable to attend the sale in person can watch the action unfold and make bids through the Stocklive Elite online platform. The catalogue can be viewed now on the Brangus Australia, GDL, and Stocklive Elite websites.
