Hot bidding expected for lots in the Angus on Ice Frozen Genetics Sale

An exclusive opportunity to secure breed-leading semen and embryo packages will present itself at the Angus on Ice Frozen Genetics Sale to be held in conjunction with the Neogen World Angus Forum and the Zoetis AngusEXPO.
Elders Stud Stock sale agent Paul Jameson said the sale will feature top shelf pedigrees to provide prospective buyers, across all levels of the production scale, with the ability to access world class genetics from some of the nation's most high profile Angus breeders.
"These types of genetic offerings will give new or existing Angus breeders the ability to fastrack their breeding programs," Mr Jameson said.
The Angus on Ice Frozen Genetics Sale will be held via AuctionsPlus and will be conducted in a simultaneous format, meaning all lots will be up for sale at the same time.
The sale will run throughout the Zoetis AngusEXPO in Tamworth from Friday, May 2, until Sunday, May 4.
At the conclusion of the live lots for the Elite Angus Female Sale, the auction timer will kick into gear, and the countdown will start for bidding on the lots in the Angus on Ice Frozen Genetics Sale to be finalised.
Mr Jameson anticipates there will be a high level of interest in the sale from domestic and international parties.
"Several breeders who've entered genetics in this sale have had their females quarantined to enable the resulting embryos and flushes to be qualified for export. This will bring a whole new level of interest to the sale."
Close to 50 lots had been catalogued for the sale to date, with entry numbers still to be finalised.
Elders Stud Stock are the auction partners for the Neogen world Angus Forum and Zoetis AngusEXPO, with a number of the company's stud stock specialists to be onsite throughout the entire weekend.
Elders Stud Stock representatives will include Paul Jameson and Scott Cooper, NSW; Michael Glasser and Ross Milne, Victoria; and Michael Smith and Jenni O'Sullivan, Queensland.
