Studs across southern NSW are encouraged to get their entries in for the 2025 The Land Southern Beef Week, sponsored by Zoetis.

The six-day event will be held from July 28 to August 2 and will give studs the opportunity to showcase their genetics and host open days on farm.

Studs have until May 30 to nominate for this year's event. Fill out the entry form here, or via the form below.

Annika Collins, Glanmire Murray Greys, Bathurst, held an open day for the first time last year.

Ms Collins said they welcomed plenty of Murray Grey breeders, mostly from the local area. She would look to hold another open day going forward.

"We got to sell a bull, so that made it even better," she said.

Bannaby Angus has participated in the event for the past decade and hosts open days at both its Taralga and Bendick Murrell properties.

Principal Keith Kerridge said the event was an ideal way for the stud to showcase its bulls in the leadup to its annual sale.

Regardless of whether producers followed up to buy bulls, the open days allowed people to see what was out there and view different genetics, he said.

Day one of this year's event will feature studs located in the eastern Riverina, while day two spans the South West Slopes.

On day three the event will head to the Central West to incorporate properties around Dubbo, Wellington and Mudgee, before moving on day four to studs between West Wyalong, Parkes, Cowra and Orange.

Day five includes the Central Tablelands, while the final day will involve properties located from the Southern Highlands to the Monaro.
