See how the opening lots sold at the 2025 Nutrien Classic horse sale
The 2025 Nutrien Classic horse sale is underway in Tamworth with good demand demonstrated within the opening lots.
Private negotiations are underway with several horses falling just short of the reserve in the ring but selling soon afterwards.
There are 616 lots catalogued across the four-day sale and The Land will be reporting daily from the event.

Early results are as follows:
Baymak Condor, a gelding by Palmers El Condo and out of Baymak Delight sold for $21,000.
He was exhibited by Rob Carn, Winton, Qld.
Adamsleas Prowlin Spin, a gelding by Seligman Spin from High Prowlin Princess, was exhibited by Shane, Amanda and Laine Bennett, Wee Waa.
He was initially passed in the ring but went on to sell privately for $27,500.
Captain Jack, a gelding also by Seligman Spin and from Donell Park Black Pearl, sold for $20,000.
He was exhibited by BM and AW Hick and PAW Jamieson, Charters Towers, Qld.
Wicked Hustle, exhibited by Gundagai's Claire Lindley, sold for $27,500.
The gelding was by Beniah from Shanghai's Street Dance.
Arlee Decepticon, by Hazelwood Congressman from Sonitos Fortyniner 02, sold for $18,00.
The gelding was exhibited by Anna Paton, Tooma.
Willinga Hell Raisin Talk, a gelding by Smooth Talkin Style from Hells a Comin, passed in for $20,000 but later sold privately for $25,000.
He was exhibited by Mt Hercules Pty Ltd.

Willdraft Biscuit, by Acres Destiny from Dual Ray Biscuit 02, sold for $52,500.
The 2019 gelding was exhibited by Glazendawn Pty Ltd, Wallumbilla, Qld.
Hard Spice, a gelding by GI M Hard from QXH Dual Spin, sold for $20,000.
He was exhibited by Country Trucker Caps, Kandanga, Qld.
Token Extra, exhibited by Rob Carn, Winton, Qld, sold for $27,500.
The gelding was by Wallabah Excel from Westons Puzzle.
Yaven Van Halen, a stallion by Metallic Cat from Yaven Spinarey, was passed in for $65,000.
He was exhibited by Rachelle Barnett, Young.
Lealukas Senorita, a mare by Bonlac Gigolo from Yulgilbar Little Senorita 02, passed in for $25,000.
She was exhibited by Tom Denson, Tumut.
Token Last Tune, by Timed and Tuned from Olenas Miss Spinifex, passed in for $15,000.
The 2019 mare was exhibited by Michael and Reagan O'Donnell, Kempsey.
Brooksie Chic, exhibited by Jim Bennett, Yathella, sold for $15,000.
The gelding was by Brooksipep 02 from Glamalee Mega Acres.
Glendeen Feather, a mare by Soda Darcy from Glendeen Pheonix, sold for $15,000.
She was exhibited by ON Cambridge and KB Carter, Hedley, Vic.
Two Timin Kitty, a mare by Purrfect Timing 02 from Gleenslopes Lucky Token, was passed in for $8000.
She was exhibited by Dianne Lebrocq and Vicki Dempsey, Upper Horton.
One Stylish Meerkat, by One Stylish Pepto from Meerkat Mozart, sold for $30,000.
The 2019 mare was exhibited by CM Pastoral, Moama.
Smooth Catalena, a mare by Ima Smooth Blue Cat from Bills Pep Alena, was passed in for $12,500.
She was exhibited by Georgia Marks, Warren.
Pretty Little Justice, exhibited by Bernau Station, Tamworth, sold for $15,000.
The 2019 mare was by Soda Justice from Glenoak Indigo.
Reldas Anaconda, by Hazelwood Conman from Tejano Spin 02, was passed in for $70,000 but sold privately for $75,000 to Atkins Cattle Company, Taroom, Qld.
The mare was exhibited by W Woods Pty Ltd, Connewarre, Vic.
Other good results included the $32,000 sale of Hutton Creek Mitchell, a 2021 gelding by Call Me Mitch from Kydras Moore Bliss.
He was exhibited by Tom Webster, Goondiwindi, Qld.
Wermatong Percy, a 2021 gelding by Amac Drydust from WSR Nursefea Cat 02, sold $30,000. He was exhibited by David Mitchell, Tooma.
