Catch All the Action of the Young Auctioneers Competitions Online

Can’t make it to this year’s Sydney Royal Easter Show? The Land ensures you won’t miss a moment of the excitement from the ALPA National and NSW Young Auctioneers Competitions.

Thanks to the support of sponsor Elders Rural Services, The Land will be live-streaming the event directly from the Sydney Showgrounds on Friday, April 2, 2026, giving viewers across the country—and beyond—a front-row seat.

The state and national finals of the ALPA Young Auctioneers Competition will kick off at 1pm, showcasing the next generation of auctioneering talent.

Kirra Kelly, ACM Agri livestock product and strategy lead, highlighted the growing online engagement for the competitions.

“In 2025, 10,804 unique viewers watched the event on The Land website, with an average watch time of 59 minutes,” she said. “On Facebook, the event reached 9,301 people and generated 11,989 views. Combined, the total online audience reached 20,105 unique viewers.”

Mrs Kelly added that while the majority of viewers were based in Australia, the competitions also attracted international attention from the United States, New Zealand, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

The Land has been streaming the Young Auctioneers competitions for over a decade, continually expanding access for those who cannot attend in person.

The livestream will be available on The Land’s website, Facebook page, and the ALPA Facebook page, allowing everyone to experience the excitement as it unfolds.
