West Wyalong/Temora District Agents 1st Cross Ewe Sale – 3,085 Head Merino & 1st Cross Breeding Ewes

The annual West Wyalong/Temora District 1st Cross Ewe Sale returns to the West Wyalong Saleyards on Friday 11th September 2026, commencing at 1pm. Jointly run by Nutrien Ag Solutions (Will Dean), Kevin Miller, Whitty, Lennon & Co (Paul Quade and Alaster Jenkins) and Elders (Jake Lebrocque), the sale will yard approximately 3,085 head of 1st cross Border Leicester/Merino ewes and ewe lambs from 13 vendor lines across the district.

The catalogue features well-known breeding lines including Kegra, Cadell, Bauer, Mount Beckom and New Armatree Border Leicester bloodlines crossed over Merino ewes sourced from Goolgumbla, Grassmere, Austral Eden, Wanganella, Haddon Rig and Ballatherie blood, among others. Vendors include GK, LM & DJ Golder, GJ & AL Graham, Cadell Farming, Ken Haddrill & Co, Eric Maguire, Jayden McLean, TR Cattle, O'Dwyer Farming, Aitken & Meehan, Emly Farming, LR Quade and BJ & LA Cox. Drop dates range from March 2025 through to the April 2026 ewe lamb line offered by BJ & LA Cox, with most lines shorn between June and August 2025, mulesed, drenched and fully vaccinated (Gudair, 6-in-1, scabby mouth), and several lines scanned empty for buyer confidence.
