Colac Regional Saleyards Store Cattle Sale – 500 Head Cattle

The Colac Stock Agents Association, in conjunction with Charles Stewart Howard, Charles Stewart, Nutrien Livestock and HF Richardson Livestock & Property, will host a 500-head Store Cattle Sale at the Colac Regional Saleyards on Friday 4th September 2026, commencing at 10:00am. The catalogue features 300 steers and 150 heifers, plus a joined line, drawn predominantly from well-known Angus breeding programs across the district, alongside Hereford, Crossbred (Hereford x, Angus/Friesian x) and Simmental-influenced drafts.

Standout consignments include grown steers from SM&JM Chislom (PJ Cattle Co blood), weaner steers and heifers from vendors such as TF&JC Moore, M. Missen, Cairnbrae, Cimel, Lake Moddewarre Cattle Co, KDH Rural, Quintly P/L, B. Dunstan, Manintveld Farm Trust, Modewarre Investment Holdings, and K&J Ferrari, with many lines noted as weaned, drenched and vaccinated. A joined line from K&J Ferrari (15 Angus x cows, 3rd & 4th calvers, PTIC to Quarterford Angus bulls, calving September onwards) will also be offered, along with cows & calves.

Cattle are to be received by 4:00pm on the Thursday prior to sale day, with cows & calves and the joined line sold at the commencement of the 10am sale. The sale is held under cover on soft flooring, and Colac Associated Agents promote a grass-fed, no-antibiotics program.
