WVLX Foundation Agents September Store Sale – 1,500 Head Cattle

The WVLX Foundation Agents will offer approximately 1,500 head of cattle at the September Store Sale, held at the Western Victoria Livestock Exchange in Mortlake on Thursday 3rd September 2026. The sale runs across Grown Steers, Weaner Steers, Grown Heifers, Weaner Heifers, Cows & Calves, F1 Steers and Heifers, and Dairy cattle, with selling starting at 10am and following the order: Grown Steers, Weaner Steers, Grown Heifers, Weaner Heifers, followed by Cows & Calves, PTIC Females, Empty Females, F1, Dairy and Bulls.

Notable vendor lines include large F1 drafts from Musson Dairy and Mash Vale (50 head each of Angus-cross steers and heifers by ABS InFocus sires), P & M Kerr Farming (30 Angus/Friesian-cross steers and heifers on TeMania bloodlines), and Doolan Farm (Speckle Park/Friesian-cross steers and heifers on Willow Grove and JAD bloodlines). Breed variety features Belted Galloway drafts from C Kavanagh, Limousin cattle from P&S Lamont on Pelican Rise bloodlines, and Danish Blue-cross heifers from D & J Smith, alongside a strong Angus/Friesian-cross offering throughout the F1 and Dairy sections.

The sale is interfaced with AuctionsPlus, with the online catalogue including videos and photos available from 7:00am on sale day. A strict curfew of 3pm Wednesday (the day before the sale) applies to all cattle deliveries
