Weekly Sheep & Lamb Sale 12,220 Head Sheep & Lambs

Five selling agents — Nevins, Nutrien Ag Solutions, Nuttall, M&M and Elders — will offer a combined 12,220 head of sheep and lambs at the Bendigo Livestock Exchange at Huntly on Monday, 24 August 2026. It is a substantial weekly yarding for the tail end of winter, made up of 9,535 lambs and 2,685 adult sheep.

The lamb run is headed by 2,725 exotic lambs and 2,388 trade sucker lambs, supported by 2,123 crossbred lambs, 1,090 store lambs, 956 Merino lambs and 253 hoggets. M&M brings the largest single line-up at 3,780 head, including a standout 1,800 exotic lambs and 1,000 sheep, followed by Nutrien with 3,450 head built around 1,200 trade suckers and 1,000 store lambs. Elders yards 1,940 head with strong exotic (625) and Merino (506) lamb numbers, Nuttall offers 1,700 head led by 900 trade suckers, and Nevins rounds out the sale with 1,350 head. The depth across trade, export, restocker and Merino categories should suit processors and restockers alike.

Pen allocation runs Nevins pens 1–53 (drafts ABC, ramp 1), Nutrien 54–187 (DEF–GHI, ramps 2 & 3), Nuttall 188–253 (JKL, ramp 4), M&M 254–400 (MNO–PQR, ramps 5 & 6) and Elders 401–476 (STU, ramp 7). Delivery gates at the Bendigo Livestock Exchange open 2:00pm Sunday through to 7:30am Monday.
