Bowe & Lidbury Maitland Store Sale – 600 Head Cattle

Bowe & Lidbury will conduct their monthly Maitland Store Sale at Maitland Regional Saleyards, Rutherford, on Saturday 15th August 2026, commencing at 11am. The catalogue features 600 head comprising steers, heifers, cows and calves, and PTIC (pregnancy tested in calf) cows and heifers, with further entries invited and expected ahead of sale day.

Notable vendor lines include a complete property dispersal from Hope Estate, Eccleston, offering 15 Angus cows PTIC and 40 Angus cows and calves — well-bred Angus females to be drafted into ages at sale. Other quality drafts include Angus heifers and cows and calves from Wallabrook Angus (Wallarobba), purebred Poll Hereford cows from Lindsay Robson (Somersby), Sugarloaf-blood Angus weaners from Tarjan Country Holdings (Chads Creek), and outstanding Knowla-blood Angus heifer and calf units from LCM Livestock (Congewai), with calves sired by Texas Geddes. The broader yarding also includes 100 mixed sex yearlings, 300 mixed sex weaners, 50 cows and calves, 50 PTIC cows and heifers, and 7 Friesian steers.
