WVLX Mortlake August Store Sale – 2,500 Head Cattle

The WVLX Mortlake August Store Sale, run by the WVLX Foundation Agents, will offer approximately 2,500 head of cattle on Thursday 6 August 2026, starting at 10am. The catalogue spans Grown Steers, Weaner Steers, Grown Heifers, Weaner Heifers, Cows & Calves, PTIC Females, F1 Steers and Heifers, Dairy cattle and Bulls, with the sale order running Grown Steers, Weaner Steers, Grown and Weaner Heifers, followed by Cows & Calves, PTIC Females, F1, Dairy and Bulls.

Notable vendor lines include two herd dispersals — TJ McSween's complete dispersal of S-Park cows and heifers (including calves at foot sired by Weatherly Angus bulls and two Black Diamond S-Park bulls) and Railway Farm's dispersal of Angus/Friesian-cross cows and heifers. Larger F1 drafts come from S & C McCluggage (Angus-cross steers and heifers, Ladrow blood) and Musson Dairy (Angus-cross cattle on ABS In Focus sires), alongside sizeable Angus/Friesian-cross drafts from Parfett Farms and Mash Vale.

The sale is interfaced with AuctionsPlus, with the online catalogue including videos and photos available from 7am on sale day. A strict curfew of 3pm Wednesday (the day before) applies to all cattle deliveries.
