South Gippsland Associated Agents Store Sale – 460 Head Cattle, EVLX Leongatha

South Gippsland Associated Agents (Elders and Alex Scott & Staff) will conduct a Store Cattle Sale at EVLX Leongatha on Thursday 6 August 2026, commencing at 9am. Approximately 460 head are catalogued across grown steers, weaners, and cows & calves, with additional and late entries expected to be listed on The Herd Online closer to sale day.

Grown steer offerings are led by John Maclachlan P/L's 150 Angus steers (16 months, Glencoe Angus bred, NZ and Banquet genetics), alongside quality Angus lines from P Nation, D & R Hardy (including Red Angus by Paringa bloodlines), B Carr, Marketplace Solutions and John Blackney. The weaner section features strong Angus and Hereford drafts from Meljar, BD & MM Walpole, Eddington Holdings (Banquet, Fernleigh, Welcome Swallow and Lawson blood) and G & D Jacobson. The cows & calves section includes 20 Angus x Friesian second-calving PTIC cows from Moon & Grice, joined to a stud Fernleigh bull for early September calving.

Most lines are vendor bred, guaranteed free and antibiotic-free where noted, with several NE-accredited drafts and documented vaccination and drenching histories
