VC Reid Smith Livestock presents the Forbes Stud Pig Sale & Youth Show, to be held at Bedgerabong Showground and Racecourse near Forbes, NSW. The two-day event opens with a Youth Show on Wednesday 20th May 2026, followed by the stud sale on Thursday 21st May 2026. Conducted by experienced auctioneer Murray Reid, this annual event has established itself as one of the premier purebred pig sales in regional NSW, drawing buyers from across the country.

Offered at the sale are Stud Boars and Gilts across five prominent breeds: Duroc, Large White, Landrace, Berkshire, and Hampshire. The full catalogue is yet to be released at the time of this listing. In previous years the sale has attracted strong multi-state buyer competition, with clearance rates consistently above 90% and top prices reaching $1,900.
