Casterton Mid Year Store Sale — 1,000 Head Cattle

Nutrien Ag Solutions and Elders Casterton are co-agenting the Casterton Mid Year Store Sale on Thursday 14th May 2025, commencing at 9:30am at the Casterton Livestock Saleyards. The sale features approximately 1,000 head of quality store cattle drawn from the renowned South West Victorian region, with entries already received and further entries invited.

The yarding comprises a strong line-up of steers and heifers sourced from well-credentialed local and regional vendors. Steers are headlined by 100 Angus & Angus X from Struan and 80 Angus from Ellimatta, joined by notable lines from Murray Glen (Kelly Angus blood), Birklands (Dollar Angus blood), Welbanite and Bandora Angus (both EU accredited). Heifers include 60 NSM Angus from Ellimatta, 50 NSM Angus from Murray Glen, and a range of EU accredited lines from Weaver Livestock, McQuarry Park, and Lohmans Gap. A small parcel of Angus Cows & Calves rounds out the offering from The Flat. Predominantly Angus and Angus cross genetics feature throughout, with notable bloodlines including Dollar Angus, Boonaroo, Kelly Angus, Pathfinder, and Stoney Point.
