WVLX Mortlake May Store Sale — 1,200 Head of Cattle

WVLX (Western Victoria Livestock Exchange) presents its May Store Sale at the Mortlake saleyard on Thursday, 7th May 2026, with 1,200 head of cattle offered across a wide range of categories. The sale is organised by WVLX Foundation Agents, representing leading agencies including Elders, Charles Stewart, Nutrien, HF Richardson, Southern Grampians Livestock & Real Estate, LMB Livestock, Brian O'Halloran & Co., J&J Kelly, and Capital Livestock & Property.
The catalogue features Grown and Weaner Steers, Grown and Weaner Heifers, Cows & Calves, F1 Heifers, F1 Steers, and Dairy cattle. Angus and Angus-cross lines dominate, with strong representation of Speckle Park and Friesian-cross F1 stock. Notable vendor lines include Baringa Park blood (Seasons Farming), Banquet and Barwidgee blood (Duxford Ag), and AI-bred Angus-cross lines from S & P Rea. Cows and calves are well represented, with highlights including a line of 23 Angus cows in their 5th–6th calf joined to Wright Angus bulls, and multiple mixed-age Hereford and Angus cow and calf units from Duell Farming.
