Glenlea Beef Roma Bull & Female Sale — 50 Charolais Bulls plus 20 Feature Females selling “Pick the Pair”

Glenlea Beef returns to Roma Saleyards on Wednesday 16 September 2026 with a performance-focused offering of Charolais bulls and selected females bred for commercial production systems. The 2026 Roma Sale will offer 50 Charolais bulls and a feature draft of 20 Red Factor, polled heifers sold under a “pick the pair” format, giving buyers the opportunity to select elite Glenlea females to suit their breeding direction.

The Roma draft continues Glenlea’s focus on medium-framed, earlier maturing Charolais cattle with growth, muscle, finishing ability, temperament and commercial paddock performance. Bulls are selected using the same performance-first criteria applied across the Glenlea herd, with strong emphasis on EBVs, structure, doing ability, carcass performance, polled genetics and Red Factor lines suited to northern and pastoral production systems. The sale will again provide buyers with practical access to Glenlea genetics through the Roma selling centre, with online bidding available for buyers unable to attend in person.
