Special Store Cattle Sale 2500 Cattle

Elders Cooma presents the Special Store Cattle Sale at the Cooma Saleyards, featuring approximately 2,500 head of quality cattle. This highly anticipated regional sale attracts strong interest from restockers, backgrounders, and feedlot buyers seeking well-bred and productive livestock.

The yarding will include a substantial offering of weaners, comprising around 1,000 Angus steer weaners, 500 Hereford steer weaners, 140 Black Baldy steer weaners, 400 Angus heifer weaners, and 350 Black Baldy and Hereford heifer weaners. The majority of cattle are aged 6–8 months and are grass-fed, HGP-free, and antibiotic-free unless otherwise specified.

Conducted onsite and supported by leading agencies including Elders, Nutrien Ag Solutions, and MLP, the sale offers buyers access to premium-quality cattle from reputable producers across the region.
