South Eastern Livestock Exchange Weaner Sale – 4,500 Head Cattle

The South Eastern Livestock Exchange (SELX) will host its annual Weaner Sale on Friday 10th April 2026, commencing at 10:00 AM. The yarding is drawn at 4,500 head of predominantly Angus and Angus-cross weaner steers and heifers, sourced from vendors across the Southern Tablelands, Monaro, and surrounding districts. The sale is managed by the SELX Associated Agents, a consortium including AgStock, Butt Livestock & Property, Delta Agribusiness, Duncombe & Co, Elders, Holman Tolmie, Jim Hindmarsh Stock Agents, Kevin Miller Whitty Lennon & Co, MD & JJ Anderson, Michael Hall Livestock, Nutrien Livestock Goulburn, and Ray White Rural & Livestock.
Notable vendor lines in the steer section include Macarthur Onslow (Elders) with 300 Bannaby-blood Angus steers, LA Angus and The Pastoral Company with 100 head apiece, Jiparu Pty Ltd with 100 pure Bongongo-blood Angus steers, and Ballymena Roslyn and Hughstonia Pastoral each offering 80 head. The heifer section features strong drafts from Macarthur Onslow (100 head), RTR Rural (75 head), EG & SM Martin (60 Fleckvieh heifers), and Cesare Pastoral. The catalogue also includes small but well-bred specialty entries such as Fleckvieh crosses from Wirrabilla blood and Black Simmental-cross lines from several vendors. The majority of cattle are July/August or August/September drop, yard weaned, and vaccinated with 5in1 or 7in1 protocols.
