Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service Tag a Calf & Feature Weaner Sale

A major feature weaner sale offering approximately 4,000 cattle, with $2 per head sold donated to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.

This well-supported sale presents an exceptional yarding of grassfed, antibiotic-free weaners drawn from some of the North West's most reputable breeding operations. Entries span mixed sex weaners, steers, heifers, and PTIC cows, with Angus and Angus-cross cattle dominating the offering alongside Charolais, Speckle Park, and Red Angus lines.

Highlights include:

Mixed sex weaners range from 4 to 10 months, with standout lines from Sunset Ranch (350 head, 4–6mths), Buringal Grazing (300 head, Rennylea & Landfall blood — 2025 Virbac Challenge Winners), JJ & TJ Daly & Son (300 head, Mosquito Creek blood), and Peelview Pastoral (250 head, Booragul & Gates blood, complete drop, yard weaned). Further quality lines are offered carrying Millah Murrah, Hazeldean, Heart, Booroomooka, Coffin Creek, Eaglehawk, Carrabobilla, and Knowla bloodlines.

Steer highlights include 160 yard-weaned and handled Angus steers from Westholme, and an outstanding line of 40 vaccinated Angus weaners from Sandholme PS (Choice, 3R & XL blood).

Heifer entries include 100 Angus yearling heifers (PTE, approx 350kg) from Wilburtree South, and 50 tops-of-the-drop Angus weaner heifers from Cheyenne Pastoral (approx 280kg, nothing retained).

PTIC cows include 125 Angus cows from J Simmons, PTIC to Wagyu bulls calving from mid-May, along with additional cow lines from Sunset Ranch and J & Z Burraston.
