Land Agribusiness Water Development (LAWD) is pleased to present for sale Kooba Ag – Hay Aggregation (the Aggregation), one of Australia’s largest irrigation farming operations on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River in the renowned Riverina region of New South Wales (NSW).
Comprising approximately 19,896* hectares, the Aggregation is highly developed to laser levelled row crop irrigation and benefited by secure access to both surface and groundwater entitlements and substantial water storages.

• Secure access to both surface and groundwater entitlements with substantial on-farm water storage totalling 22,922* megalitres, significant Murrumbidgee River – Supplementary Entitlement (17,000*megalitres) and access to Lower Murrumbidgee Aquifer (Zone 3) groundwater.
• Extensive Murrumbidgee River frontage (15* kilometres) and three approved extraction points with significant pumping capacity.

• Strategically located in the Murrumbidgee Valley, one of the most productive and agriculturally diverse regions of Australia, approximately 20 linear kilometres south-west of Hay, 130* linear kilometres south-west of Griffith and 360* linear kilometres north of the Melbourne CBD.
• Close to commodity processing facilities, including cotton gins at Hay (Auscott Cotton Gin), Carrathool (Rivcott Cotton Gin), Whitton (Southern Cotton Gin) and Hillston (Namoi Cotton Gin), almond hulling and processing facilities at Griffith (Almond Co), Swan Hill (Select Harvests), Mildura (Olam almond), walnut processing facility in Leeton (Webster Walnuts) and feedlots located at Maude (Ravensworth Feedlot and Hell’s Gate Feedlot), Tabbita (Prime City Feedlot) and Yanco (Riverina Beef Feedlot).
LAWD is offering the Aggregation to the market as the whole portfolio or as separate assets, by Expression of Interest with the first stage closing Thursday 14 April 2022 at 4pm (AEST).
