Country: "Hutton" comprises undulating forest grazing country with traprock ridges and slopes to softer loam flats and hollows. About half the property is open grazing while the balance is partly open to timbered country (refer to vegetation map). The property is mainly ironbark country with some box on the flats with areas of spotted gum on the timbered ridges.
Note: There are areas of substantial ironbark timber and large amounts of I/B firewood.

Carrying Capacity: The owners estimate the properties overall carrying capacity is at 110-120 breeders taking calves off as weaners.

Water -

Bore (Lot 2347): 22.7m depth, 11m to water (approx. 200gph) equipped with solar pump - 1 solar panel delivering 900LTS/per hour, 25m lead. Pump capable of 1800LTS per hour pumping into a 5000 gallon f/glass tank with auto float cut off system. Reticulated to a 25' timber trough with float and a concrete trough with float in the cattle yards plus a tap connection in the yards.

Bore (Lot 2 on SP339058): Not in use, needs redrilling. 15.5m to bottom of hole, 6m to water. Has a 6' windmill (not operating).
